Purpose. Community. Drive.
These are the three imperatives I bring to everything I do. With over 8 years of experience, I approach my work with a sense of purpose, ensuring that what I produce has an impact on people’s lives. This leads me to community. It is, and will always be, at the centre of any strategy, research project, or workshop I facilitate. If I am designing a solution, it must build from, support, and enrich the community I work with. Working in this way drives me to learn and grow, which leads me to develop projects with humility and an open mind.
To build on these three principles, I recently went back to school to pursue my Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation at OCADU. I wanted to make a pivot that was more meaningful, focused on social impact and innovation.
In the past, I developed brand, content, social & campaign strategies, working in-house (at Mejuri, KOTN & Tkees) and in the agency world (Momentum & Academy). This work centred on community-focused, data-driven executions that laid the foundation for my work today.
My experience in community-centric problem solving, integrated strategy, and social impact work (acquired through my degree) helps me effectively communicate complex systems and concepts in an accessible way.
Beyond work, I’m either doing something crafty, like pottery, or cooking up a storm. I also love pilates and yoga, and a good self-care day.
